Ozzy Osbourne singing using our lyric teleprompter

Call it a Concert Teleprompter, Word Wedge, Musician Prompter, or Lyric Prompter, whatever…

Musicians have a lot of lyrics to memorize, especially if they tour and change set lists each night. And when a supergroup comes together, singers are often unfamiliar with performing each other’s songs.

Singers use a concert teleprompter to jog their memory. No, they’re not staring at it the entire performance 😛 The lyric teleprompter sometimes acts as a set list for the band, too.

We’ve supplied concert teleprompters for Ozzy Osbourne, Sting, Liza Minnelli, Metallica, Snoop Dogg, Rufus Wainwright, Taeyang, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, Billy Idol, Sammy Hagar, Diana Ross, and T-Bone Burnett. We’ve prompted songs in Spanish, Greek, and Korean as well.

Doing a concert is a thrill for us teleprompter operators, since for that brief moment, we get to play along with the band.  And yes, our toes are tapping, too.

We supply 24″ teleprompter monitors hidden in cases that look like regular audio speakers to the audience. Larger sizes and high bright monitors are available without the doghouse. We can also mount monitors to the lighting truss.
